Matlock, Jesse
Died in Loudon county, on the 5th inst., Jesse Matlock, in the seventy-second year of his age. Mr. Matlock was one of the first settlers in East Tennessee, and during his life accumulated a vast body of land on the river, just below Loudon, owning at one time about five miles of land up and down the Tennessee.
